Our good deeds or disposition

The characteristic of a disciple is not what good things we may do, but more importantly our good acts are motivated by the amazing and unending grace of God.1-good-deed-can-change-a-life

Over time we will discover right doing exceeds right being every time. God came to put into any every person who would let the Lord a new heredity which would exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees. The word of God says — “If you are My disciple you must be right not only in your living, but in your motives, in your dreams, in the recesses of your mind.”

We must strive to be so pure in our motives that God Almighty can see nothing to censure. Who can stand in the Eternal Light of God and have nothing for God to censure? Only the Son of God, and the Lord claims that by the redemption God can put into any person a divine disposition, and make them as unsullied and as simple as a child.

The purity which God demands is impossible unless we can be remade within, and that is what God has undertaken to do by the Redemption. No person can make them self pure by obeying laws. The Lord does not give us rules and regulations; the teachings are truths which can only be interpreted by the “disposition” God puts in us.

The great marvel of God’s salvation is the Lord alters our heredity. God does not alter human nature; but alters its mainspring.

Truly, choosing right doing over our own thoughts of right being helps us, guides us to extend the profound love within us and towards all. When have made the choice to alter your disposition touched by the heart of God? Please leave a comment, I will even write you back.

See you next Sunday.
