As a kid I enjoyed putting together model cars and planes. In each new model box, the first item I would see were the instructions. As a wise and old kid of eight, I didn’t think I needed to follow the instructions. In my mind I knew exactly how to put the model together. Not until I had glued a few pieces together did I realize I had skipped an important step, like the pilot belonged in the cockpit.
We often think that we have no need for instructions for our lives, only to later realize that we’ve messed things up. This is exactly why God advised that following instructions is the way for wise people to build a safe, solid, and significant life. Read Matt. 7:24-29. God had just told an attentive audience to turn the other cheek, go the extra mile, forgive your enemies, and sell your valuables as an offering to the poor. However, just getting the instructions isn’t enough. Our key is to actually live out the instructions. “Whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken them to a wise person who built there house on the rock”.
For those who ignore the instructions are, as God put it, “foolish”. To the world, forgiving your enemies and giving to the poor may seem like a silly way to build a life, but, take it from God, it’s the wise way.
To build a rock-solid life, follow the instructions. Plus, if you like building models, they will turn out a whole lot better with less effort.

My brothers and sisters the truth shall soon set us free as we’re quickly approaching His 2nd coming especially from this past week along with the on going threats to His people of Israel.
However the good news, God promises to acquit you in the Heavenly judgement if you invite Jesus to enter your life and permit Him to remain in control! As for me I’m taking moments of each day in sharing the Word putting him as only the messenger.

Although not one ever complain, no meds often paralyzed from losing entire leg. Persevering through countless surgeries playing professional baseball, soccer with so many wonderful accomplishments along the way and more to follow
What else could a parent be Blessed with when your 4 awesome children in mid 20’s still call for advice, often saying “Dad your our hero”
